Canon Adventures Birthday Club

Learn how to use a compass with your birthday buddies while you play a scavenger hunt game along the way.
Starsmore Discovery Center

Exciting Outdoor Birthday Adventures
(for various ages)

  • Nature Detective Party: (ages 4-7) Hike up the trail and discover nature with our senses and learn about our puppet animal friends.
  • Prospectors' Party: (ages 8-12) Pan for gold in Cheyenne Creek, investigate Pikes' Pack and learn the history of the gold rush of 1859.
  • Junior Ranger Birthday: (ages 8-12) Young rangers learn about the park through a guided hike. Junior Ranger Packets can be purchased for an additional $5 per child.
  • Tipi Raising Birthday: (ages 8-Adult) Set up a real tipi and share in the daily life of the Ute Indian culture.
  • We can also design a party around what your child is interested in.

Where:  Starsmore Discovery Center, 2120 S. Cheyenne Cañon Rd.

 

When:  Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer, and Saturdays in the spring and fall

Price:  $120 for up to 12 participants (including siblings) plus $10 for each additional participant. One adult required to chaperone. There is a $20 non-refundable reservation fee that will be deducted from your program total. Special price for Tipi Raising Birthday (only) is $150 plus $10 for each additional participant.

Details: We provide a one-hour adventure program with an activity, plus tables, chairs and celebration area (Veranda or lower level of Discovery Center).

You are welcome to bring decorations, cake, drinks, plates, utensils, etc

You may arrive 30 minutes before celebration to set up. Have children dress for the weather, but party may be held partly indoors or on the veranda in case of rain.
