SWENT Projects - Click here to view projects completed by the Streets Division using SWENT dollars.  At the end of 2009 citizens voted to eliminate the SWENT program.  We currently respond to permit required and emergent issues only using limited general fund dollars.  As a result we continue to look for solutions to ever-growing damage issues stemming from an aged infrastructure.   

Concrete Repair & Roadway Resurfacing Programs (PPRTA-Streets) - In November 2004, voters in El Paso County, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and Green Mountain Falls approved the creation of the Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA) to provide the Pikes Peak area with roadway capital improvements, additional highway maintenance, and increased transit services.  The PPRTA manages identified maintenance programs in cooperation with the City of Colorado Springs Streets Division to preserve the City’s multi-billion dollar roadway infrastructure.  Year End reports containing completion statistics and program descriptions are available for the PPRTA-Streets Division Concrete Repair and Roadway Resurfacing programs.
