The City of Colorado Springs is eligible to receive $682,137 in Community Development Block Grant-Recovery funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

The City must prepare a substantial change amendment that is to be submitted to HUD.  It will be available for review on May 20th at www.springsgov.com/cdbgrsubstantial and the public is invited to provide comments.

Citizens wishing to provide public input are invited to attend the City Council session on May 26, 2009 where City Council will be voting on the approval of the substantial change amendment.
