The Teens Outside program is an outdoor recreation program designed to get teens in grades 6-12 active in the great outdoors.
Through a variety of outdoor experiences, environmental education, conservation and stewardship, youth learn, engage and have fun while building an environment of community leadership and empowerment. Teens Outside gives youth the opportunity to have a heightened awareness of one?s surroundings, build self-esteem, self confidence and build leadership skills while interacting with positive role models.
All trips and activities are researched by City of Colorado Springs Recreation Services personnel to provide the safest environment for all teens - no matter their level of experience. Some trips require the services of guides from independent contractors. Teens Outside employs the services of companies that have a reputation for excellence, safety and service.
