Performance Measure Comparisons
Not only is Colorado Springs setting the pace for advanced use of technology in government, it's also providing an impressive return on taxpayers' investment, in both cost effectiveness and user satisfaction.
One measure of the efficiency of information technology resources is the ratio of central IT budget dollars to full-time equivalent employees (FTE). Colorado Springs spends $1,818 per FTE, 53 percent less than the average among similar-sized cities. Additionally, 75 percent of internal users rank the City's support services as good or excellent, compared to an average 50 percent among other like-size municipalities.
