Drennan Road Reopens to Truck Traffic:

Effective immediately the narrowed lane and height restrictions have been removed from Drennan Road on the west side of Academy Boulevard. Previously this intersection had been closed to all westbound truck traffic. All motorists and trucks are now being allowed through this area; however, continued awareness of workers and reduced speeds in the area is appreciated.

 

Academy Boulevard Night Closure:

Starting on Monday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. and continuing nightly through Thursday, May 12, Ames Construction will reduce Academy Boulevard traffic to one lane in each direction. This reduction will take place near the intersection of Academy Boulevard and Drennan Road.  This lane reduction is necessary as above ground support structures are being removed under the new bridge. Flaggers will be on the job site to help motorists safely navigate the work zone.
