Vincent Drive Road Extension - Phase I construction project traffic impacts

(Weeks of February 28th through March 11th)

Dublin Blvd. and Vincent Dr. Work

The intersection of Dublin Blvd. and Vincent Dr. will be shut down for boring operations through March 11.  There is a detour in place via the southern access to Current off Dublin Blvd. (approx. 150 ft. east of the intersection of Dublin Blvd and Vincent Dr.) and back onto Vincent Dr. via a temporary road.  The detour allows traffic to access Vincent Dr.  Access to businesses and residents at the intersection remains open.  Signs are in place to direct traffic.

The Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority was formed when voters in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Green Mountain Falls and El Paso County approved a one percent sales tax in November of 2004 to address infrastructure and transit needs in the region.  The tax revenue is divided into three categories: 55 percent for capital improvements (such as this project), 35 percent for maintenance, and 10 percent for transit. The capital portion of the tax will sunset at the end of the year in 2014.
