COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Whether you travel to Denver or to one of the local military bases, vanpools can be a smart choice for commuters who live and work near each other. The City’s Mountain Metro Rides group is accepting applications now for its vanpool program. The van, insurance, fuel, maintenance and an emergency ride home are all included. Sign up at mmtransit.com by filling out our online application, it’s quick and easy. Vanpoolers share the ride and pay a low monthly fare for a minivan that seats six passengers; or a full-size van that seats 10 passengers.
