Deadline approaching for the Spirit of the Springs Full Tuition scholarships!

The Mayor’s Cup Golf Tournament is a fundraiser for the Spirit of the Springs program. This program was created to celebrate and build community and to cultivate future City government leaders.

The Pikes Peak Community College Foundation,whosemission is to provide high-quality, educational opportunities accessible to all, with a focus on student success and community needs, has been a recipient of the Spirit of the Springs scholarships for the last three years. There are currently fifteen 2-year, full tuition scholarships available to minority students who are pursuing a career in Public Safety and meet the criteria below:

Who can apply for the scholarship?

  • Local high school graduates interested in careers with the Police and Fire departments
  • Graduated from a Colorado high school within past 10 years
  • Separated with honorable discharge from the military within past five years
