Volunteer Needed to Fill Vacancy on Pikes Peak Area Council Government Community Advisory Committee

The City of Colorado Springs is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) Community Advisory Committee (CAC). 

The CAC is a non-technical body comprised of volunteers who offer a citizen’s perspective on issues such as transportation, the environment, and military growth impacts in the Pikes Peak Region; ensure the responsiveness and accountability of government; and generate support for regional cooperation.

PPACG is a voluntary organization that works to expand cooperation among the region’s local governments to address public challenges.  Major programs include Area Agency on Aging, Transportation Planning, Water and Air Quality Planning, and Military Impact Planning.  Participating members include 16 municipal and county governments serving the regional community.

Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month at 3:00 p.m. in the PPACG’s lower-level conference room.
