Mayor and Suzi Bach to deliver 100th Welcome Home basket to Mtn. Shadows
Monday, February 10, 2014

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Mayor Steve Bach and his wife, Suzi, will deliver the 100th “Welcome Home” basket in the Mountain Shadows community this Saturday, February 15.

For more than a year, the Bachs and Colorado Springs Together have welcomed neighbors back into the neighborhood with gift baskets. Modeled after the 1946 holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life”, each basket includes: bread, so that the homeowners returning shall never know hunger; salt, so that their lives will always have flavor; and wine, so that joy and prosperity may reign forever.

Cindi Murphy, who lives at 6435 Ashton Park Place, will receive our 100th basket delivery.  Deliveries begin at 9 a.m. Murphy is third on the list, so we should arrive at her home between 9:20 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
