Austin Bluffs Parkway Traffic Advisory - Work Schedule


Segment 1, 2 & 3 Work Scheduled

Segment 2 Temporary Access Changes – Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Lane Reductions
Lane Reduction, Westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway Union Blvd. off-ramp
The westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway off-ramp to Union Blvd will continue to be reduced to one lane to accommodate construction of a new storm sewer until further notice.
 
Lane Reduction, Austin Bluffs Parkway between Union Blvd and Brenner Place
Beginning Saturday, September 28 at 6:30 a.m. through Monday, September 30 at 6:00 a.m., Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced from two lanes to one between Union Blvd and Brenner Place in both directions for median construction.  All lanes will reopen to traffic Monday, September 30 at 6:00 a.m.  Traffic will again be reduced from two lanes to one in each direction starting Monday, September 30 at 8:00 p.m. for asphalt paving of the median. All lanes will reopen to traffic Tuesday, October 1 at 6:00 a.m.
 
Lane Reduction, Eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway to American Drive
Eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will continue to be reduced from three lanes to two at American Drive for construction of a new right turn lane. The right turn lane onto American will continue to be closed. Traffic making right turns should follow the posted detour route to Morning Sun Avenue. All lanes will reopen to traffic Tuesday, October 15 at 5:00 p.m.
 
Segment 3 Temporary Access Changes – Austin Bluffs Pkwy. Lane Reductions
Lane Reduction, Austin Bluffs Parkway between Barnes Road and Vanadium Drive
Beginning Saturday, September 28 at 6:30 a.m. through Monday, September 30 at 6:00 a.m., Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced from two lanes to one between Barnes Road and Vanadium Drive in both directions for median construction and installation of a new sanitary sewer. All lanes will reopen to traffic Monday, September 30 at 6:00 a.m.
 
 
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes during this planned work. Posted signage, cones and flaggers will be present to help motorists safely navigate the area.  Access to businesses and homes will be maintained at all times.
