Detectives with the Colorado Springs Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted fugitive named Waldo Lovi.

An investigation developed probable cause to believe Mr. Lovi is responsible for embezzling over $134,000.00 from a local business while his employer was recovering from a lengthy illness.

Our Financial Crimes Unit has obtained an Arrest Warrant for Mr. Lovi for the charge of Felony Theft, a class 3 felony.  If convicted, a class 3 felony carries a prison term of 4-12 years.

Mr. Lovi is a 41 year old Hispanic male, 6’1”, 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Mr. Lovi is a mechanic by trade and is believed to be working as a differential mechanic in the Pueblo, Colorado area.
