Council to Hear Briefing on Retail Marijuana
Council will not take action on retail marijuana during their Work Session Meeting on Monday, May 13, or during their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, May 14.
During the May 13 meeting, City Attorney Kyle Sauer will brief Council on the recently passed state legislation regarding retail marijuana licensing and regulation and Council will give direction on a public process for evaluating options regarding the City’s treatment of retail marijuana.
Work Session meetings begin at 1 p.m. with closed executive sessions and will open to the public approximately at 2 p.m. All meetings are held in Council Chambers located on the third floor of City Hall at 107 N. Nevada Avenue. Public welcome; public comment not permitted during Work Session Meetings.
