Arrest Made in Manslaughter Case

On Saturday, February 9, 2013, the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a shooting at the Days Inn, located at 4610 Rusina Rd.
An investigation was initiated by the Violent Crimes Section which resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant for a Billie Thomas Allen for the charge of manslaughter.
UPDATE: On Sunday, February 10, 2013, Mr. Allen turned himself in to law enforcement in the City of Canon City without incident.
The investigation continues into this incident.
