Home Invasion Shooting Update

On Monday, January 7, 2013 at approximately 9:52 pm., the CSPD received a report of a home invasion with shots fired. Upon arrival, officers determined that three male suspects had forced entry into a residence in the 2400 block of East St. Vrain St.
A male resident was present when the break-in occurred and a struggle ensued between the victim and the suspects. The victim shot two of the suspects, both of whom are in their early twenties.
The injured suspects ran from the scene in an easterly direction for about one (1) block where they stopped due to their injuries. Medical personnel arrived and provided treatment to the individuals and both were transported to a local hospital.
Christopher Spencer remains in critical condition.
Mychael Puckett was treated for a gunshot wound and released and arrested the night of the home invasion.
Desiree Phillips was arrested that night.
Justin Adam Spencer turned himself in at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center last night.
Christopher and Justin are brothers.
Charges are Robbery and Conspiracy for all parties.
