City Asset Naming Board seeks two new members


The City of Colorado Springs is seeking volunteers to fill two at-large positions on the Asset Naming Board. The Asset Naming Board acts in an advisory capacity to City Council to draft and recommend policy for the naming of City assets.  The board maintains an inventory of City assets eligible for naming, establishes name eligibility criteria, maintains a list of eligible names, considers citizen input and formulates specific asset name recommendations for City Council.  Meetings are held at least quarterly and special meetings may be held as necessary as determined by the board chair.  Board members serve for a term of three years.
