4 Aggravated Robberies


Saturday, November 3, 2012, 1:42 AM (RELEASE AT WILL) 

Four armed robberies occurred within an hour's timeframe; all in the Stetson Hill's area of responsibility. Three of the four robberies occurred at Diamond Shamrock Convenient Stores, with the final being a personal robbery of two individuals.

The series of crimes happened at 11:36pm; 12:02am; 12:14am; and 12:25am at these respective locations: 3290 Austin Bluffs Parkway; 5553 Austin Bluffs Parkway; 5790 N. Carefree Circle; and Academy Boulevard and Radiant Drive (Personal).

 A black vehicle was seen at the first and third locations and the descriptions of the suspects were similar at all the sites. Suspects were described as one B/M and three H/M’s dressed in dark clothing (hoodies, face masks, gloves). The B/M was wearing black tennis shoes and two of the H/M were wearing white tennis shoes.

All suspects were reportedly carrying semi-automatic handguns. A photograph is attached to this release. This photo is of the B/M suspect who allegedly robbed the Diamond Shamrock at 3290 Austin Bluffs Parkway, at the beginning of this crime spree.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect is asked to call police immediately. Do not attempt to take anyone into custody. These individuals are considered armed and dangerous. Several shots were fired by at least one suspect at the N. Carefree Circle convenience store; however, no injuries were reported.
