On Saturday, October 17, 2009, the final 100-year celebration event will conclude with a Parade to the Park, beginning at 9 am at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center parking lot.  All ?categories? of Park visitors are invited ? hikers, bikers, rock climbers, bird watchers, history revelers ? all groups and individuals who celebrate the Garden.  At 10 am, the Garden?s Perkins plaque will be re-dedicated.  All participants will be invited to sign a ?new? proclamation, celebrating the gift of the Garden ? ?from the past to the present for the future!?
