Labor Day Concert (Event Type)
Event Date: September 3, 2012; 5:30 pm to 8 pm
Location: Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site - 3105 Gateway Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80904
Details: Three popular groups have donated their time and talent to give a concert benefiting the Ute Pass firefighters and the Colorado Springs Fire Explorers. Bring your blanket, chairs and a picnic, or buy great food from Vienna Station and listen to Mark Gardner & Rex Rideout, Jody Adams, and the Sister Brothers Bands on the lawn of the Rock Ledge House. Each group will play a 45 minute set. This free concert is a mix of old time acoustic music with fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and more with donations helping firefighters. Foot tapping fun is guaranteed.
Before the concert and after the Labor Day Base Ball game, there will be a Barn Dance from 3:30 to 4:15 pm, and an American Indian Program from 4:30 to 5:15 pm.
