ATTEMPTED MURDER

Officers responded to 155 S. Academy Blvd., the Mountain Country Shadows apartments, regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival officers located a 20 year old male who had been shot. The individual who was shot was found lying on the floor in the hallway in front of the apartment door.
The person shot was transported to a local hospital where he is listed as critical and unstable condition. He is currently undergoing surgery.
A man, woman and three (3) young children reside in the apartment.
The Homicide Unit responded and is conducting an investigation.
