Pikes Peak Region Mayors to meet with Governor Hickenlooper

The Pikes Peak Region Mayors Caucus will host a meeting with Governor John Hickenlooper on Friday, May 18, from 2 – 3pm.  The gathering will be held at the Penrose House Conference Center’s Pavilion.  Those invited include all Mayors, City Councils, County Commissions, Town Trustees, and City Managers in the Pikes Peak region.

This meeting is a direct result of the March meeting in Denver where the Mayors Caucus, along with Governor Hickenlooper and CDOT Director Don Hunt, discussed transportation funding for the Pikes Peak Region.

During this event, Governor Hickenlooper will also sign HB12-1108, a transportation related bill.

The Pikes Peak Region Mayors Caucus, modeled after the Denver Metro Mayors Caucus, includes the Mayors of Colorado Springs, Calhan, Cripple Creek, Monument, Victor, Fountain, Palmer Lake, Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls, and Manitou Springs, as well as the County Commission Chairs from El Paso and Teller Counties.
