Woodmen Road Project Continues to Move Forward

The Kraemer team was selected following the City?s Best Value procurement process, which began in May. The Best Value selection process awards the contract based on evaluation criteria including Schedule, Qualifications, Approach and Cost.
City Engineering Project Manager, Dan Krueger, commented that ?Kraemer demonstrated the best overall technical proposal and a cost proposal less than the Engineer?s Estimate of $42,758,000. They offer an aggressive schedule and real recognition of the obligations to neighbors, businesses, and commuters during and after construction.?
Final cost numbers and details on the schedule will be available after contract negotiations with the City and concurrence by the PPRTA, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).
