Fire Station #3 Receives CSFD's Phoenix Award
The Colorado Springs Fire Chief will be presenting the C-Shift crew at fire station #3 with the Phoenix Award. This award is given to firefighters that have been part of a cardiac arrest save. The patient the crew of station #3 worked with was not alive when they arrived. With early by-stander CPR, CSFD’s quick response, cutting edge cardiac techniques and the patients will to live, this patient is alive and back to their daily life.

CSFD will also be unveiling the new “Cardiac Save” insignia on the fire engine that designates this crew as being a part of a cardiac arrest save.
