Created in conjunction with the Pro Cycling Challenge, this small but dynamic bicycle exhibit features cycling in the Colorado Springs area. Pedal Power highlights how the climate, terrain, and scenic beauty of the Pikes Peak Region have made it a natural fit for cycling over the past 100 years. The collection features fun photos, commentary as well as Helen Jackson?s sensational blue National, an early twentieth-century Tiger manufactured in Colorado Springs, Alison Dunlap?s GT mountain bike from the 2000 Sydney Olympics and Chris Carmichael?s Murray from the Tour of Italy. The Museum, 215 S. Tejon St., is open Tues. - Sat. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission and bicycle parking are free. Photo courtesy of the Pioneer's Museum.
