Volunteers needed to fill seats on Security Training Advisory Board
The City is seeking two volunteer representatives of a higher education institution with a criminal justice curriculum to serve on the Security Training Advisory Board. The board advises the City Clerk/City Licensing Officer on matters related to establishing minimum standards for private security officer basic training, firearm training and conductive energy device training. Board members are appointed by City Council for a term from one to three years and meet at least once a year.
