Free Bike Parking Valet Service at the U.S. Women?s Open! 

 

The City of Colorado Springs and Mountain Metropolitan's Metro Rides group are offering free bike parking valet service at the U.S. Women?s Open golf championship July 7 - July 10.  Leave your car at home, bike to the U.S. Women?s Open, and park your bicycle in the secure and monitored valet area for free - no locks needed!  The bike parking valet will be located in the parking lot of Pauline Memorial Catholic School, 1601 Mesa Avenue, from 7:00am to 4:00 pm on Thursday through Sunday.

A bike parking valet is a volunteer-staffed bike parking service to make it easier for people to pedal to community events.  It works just like a coat check - just show up at the valet area with your bike, get a claim check and go enjoy yourself.  Your bicycle will be in the secure bike valet area monitored by community volunteers.  It's that simple! 

The City of Colorado Springs and Metro Rides, with the help of dedicated volunteers, will be offering bicycle parking valets at upcoming events all summer including the USA Pro Challenge Bicycle Race and Pikes Peak EcoFestival both in August, and the Colorado Balloon Classic in September.

Mountain Metropolitan Transit provides fixed-route bus service and Metro Mobility service for Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region, as well as other services such as ridesharing, FrontRange Express and the Ute Pass Express commuter services. For added convenience, Mountain Metropolitan Transit offers bike racks on all buses through its bike-n-bus program.
