Medical Marijuana Business License application packets now available
Medical Marijuana Business License Application Packets are
now available in the City Clerk's Office or can be downloaded from
www.springsgov.com/mmj. The packet
includes the local ordinance and rules governing Medical Marijuana Business Licensing in
Colorado Springs, as well as general information and an application checklist.
Completed applications will be received for only the applicants
that were pre-registered before 7/1/2010, and must be accompanied by the $2,200.00 application
fee, as approved by City Council on 6/28/2011. Please be
aware that we will only accept certified funds payable to the City of Colorado Springs for
Medical Marijuana applications (e.g. certified bank check, cashier's check, money order).
In order to remain in business, completed
applications must be received by the City Clerk's Office by 5:00 PM on Friday, September 30,
2011.
Annual license fees will be set by the City Council at a later date,
and will not be payable until the license is approved and ready to be issued.
