N. Nevada Ave.

There will be variable lane closures just north of the intersection of Campus Heights Dr. and north Nevada Ave. on Tuesday, July 5 from approximately 4 a.m. to 7 a.m.  The work is necessary for traffic signal mast arm installation for the new intersection. There will be flaggers and uniformed officers on site to direct traffic. Residential and business access will be maintained off of N. Nevada Ave.

For information or questions on construction impacts, please call Blue Ridge Construction at (719) 578-5225 EXT 10.

This project is funded by the Pikes Peak Rural Transportation Authority (PPRTA). The PPRTA was formed when voters in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Green Mountain Falls and El Paso County approved a one percent sales tax in November of 2004 to address infrastructure and transit needs in the region.  The tax revenue is divided into three categories: 55 percent for capital improvements (such as this project), 35 percent for maintenance, and 10 percent for transit. The capital portion of the tax will sunset at the end of the year in 2014.
