A native of Colorado Springs, Brandy Williams has a long Colorado lineage. Her father, T.A., and her grandfather, John, were both born in Colorado Springs, and her great-grandparents, Robert and Margret, arrived in Colorado from Wales in the late 1800s.
Growing up, Brandy learned the value of hard work, compassion and responsibility while working on the family cattle ranch.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, she returned to Colorado Springs and worked for JR Engineering.
In 2007, she becoming a licensed professional engineer then went to work for M&S Civil Consultants, Inc.
In addition to her career, Brandy has served as a spokesperson and focus group member for the Mayor Project, attended several Pikes Peak Regional Sustainable Committee focus group meetings and served as a member of the following committees:
- Academy Boulevard Corridor Revitalization Committee
- El Paso County Barriers to Business Group
- El Paso County Park Fee Advisory Committee
