Join Colorado Springs in the long-standing tradition of cheering on our nation’s heroes at the 2012 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Taking place in downtown Colorado Springs, the Veterans Day Parade honors veterans and veteran organizations from throughout southern Colorado. The parade route runs south on Tejon Street from St. Vrain Street to Vermijo Avenue.

In honor of our service men and women, on-street metered parking downtown and off-street parking in the City-owned parking garages will be FREE on Saturday, November 10, 2012, during the Veterans Day Parade from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The City Parking System offers free parking during the parade as a small gesture to show our support and appreciation for the military presence in our community.

City Administration Building Parking Garage
130 South Nevada Street
Kiowa Street Parking Garage
127 East Kiowa Street
The 2012 Colorado Springs Veterans Day Parade is themed Iraq Veterans, Defenders of Freedom and will feature high school marching bands as well as Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops from throughout the region. High school floats reflective of the parade’s theme will also make their way down the parade route.
