MASTER PLAN UPDATE DOCUMENTS AND RESOURCES

These files are available for download in Adobe Acrobat format. If you do not have an appropriate viewer installed, you can download one from Adobe's web site.

  • Description: To make sure the project stays on course and achieves its key objectives, the Master Plan team has established a set of guiding principles to be used during the project.

  • Description: Building upon the Guiding Principles, a series of Goals and Objectives identify five key areas to evaluate whether or not planning concepts will enable the Airport to fulfill its long-term vision and purpose.

  • Description: This briefing was presented to the Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) during its June 22, 2010 public meeting. The intent of this briefing was to present an overview of the draft aviation demand forecasts that were being finalized for submittal to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

  • Description: This technical memorandum presents forecasts of aviation activity in support of the Master Plan Update for Colorado Springs Airport. Forecasts of aviation activity are presented for enplaned passengers, air cargo tonnage and aircraft operations, including passenger, all-cargo, general aviation, and military operations. Using calendar year 2009 as the base year, annual forecasts were prepared for five future demand years - 2011, 2014, 2019, 2029, and 2035. The FAA formally approved the forecast for use in the Master Plan Update on September 23, 2010.

  • Description: This briefing was presented to the Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) during its January 25, 2011 public meeting. The intent of this briefing was to present a summary of the Master Plan Facility Requirements analysis and recommendations.

  • Description: During the April 2013 monthly public meeting of the Airport Advisory Commission (AAC), Airport staff provided a Master Plan update briefing.
