Dan Gallagher, Aviation Director

Dan Gallagher has over 13 years of progressively responsible experience in airline and airport management. As the Colorado Springs Airport's (COS) Aviation Assistant Director of Planning and Development, Gallagher oversees all aspects of the Planning, Construction and Properties activities of the airport, along with its Environmental section.

Prior to coming to Colorado Springs, Gallagher served as the Capital Programs Manager for San Antonio International Airport. He has also worked for a major airline within its Corporate Real Estate section. From 1998 - 2003, Gallagher held various positions at Long Island MacArthur Airport.

Gallagher graduated from Farmingdale State University with a Bachelors degree in Aviation Administration and a Masters of Business Administration in Aviation Management from Dowling College. He is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport Executives and is a licensed private pilot with Glider Aero-tow qualifications.
