Community cooperation needed to keep parks clean

Due to general fund budget reductions, the City of Colorado Springs is removing approximately 400 trash cans from neighborhood parks and urban trail corridors. Citizens are asked to please pack out all trash, including picking up and packing out dog waste. Trash cans will remain in place at sports complexes, community parks, regional parks and special event venues. Citizens can also help keep city parks clean by adopting a park or trail.
